In this interview, Dr. Maurizio Fava discusses many of the achievements of the department that have contributed to this ranking.
According to US News, the psychiatry rankings are based on the expert opinion of surveyed psychiatrists. Results from the three most recent years of an annual expert-opinion survey of specialized physicians are factored in. Surveyed physicians are asked to name up to five hospitals they consider the best for complex cases in their specialty.
