The U.S. News & World Report released its 34th annual best hospitals rankings. Mass General ranked #2 in the nation for psychiatry. For the second year in a row, McLean Hospitals is ranked at the top of the list. You can see the entire list HERE.
According to US News, the psychiatry rankings are based on the expert opinion of surveyed psychiatrists. The seven ranked hospitals in psychiatry or psychiatric care were recommended by at least 5% of the psychiatric specialists responding to surveys in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as a facility where they would refer their patients. In addition, Massachusetts General Hospital is listed as one of the nation’s best hospitals. Of the nearly 5,000 hospitals evaluated, MGH has consistently placed among the top hospitals on the Honor Roll since its inception in 1990 and this year Mass General Brigham is honored to have five nationally ranked hospitals.
