RecoveryWorks: Providing Employment-Related Services to Individuals with Substance Use Disorders

RecoveryWorks is a non-profit program at Massachusetts General Hospital which works to connect individuals with substance use disorders with employment opportunities.

RecoveryWorks is a groundbreaking, virtual program at Massachusetts General Hospital addressing the void in employment-related services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Substance use disorders affect a staggering number of individuals and families. Recovery is an ongoing process of growth, self-change, regaining self-confidence, and nurturing a positive outlook on life. A key component of recovery is the ability to reclaim lives and move forward by successfully returning to the workforce.

RecoveryWorks is a program at Massachusetts General Hospital which is dedicated to connecting individuals in recovery from substance use disorders with employment opportunities that match their level of experience and skill sets.

RecoveryWorks offers its participants career coaching, skill-building workshops, assistance with legal issues, and continued mentorship and support during their search for a job and throughout employment. All of these services and supports are available to participants for five years.
