Peter H. Marcus, PsyD, of the Department of Psychiatry, has been elected to the National Register of Health Service Psychologists Board of Directors for a four-year term. The National Register is dedicated to improving health care by identifying psychologists who meet specific education and training standards, and by verifying these professionals to consumers, health care organizations and regulatory bodies. Marcus’ clinical work focuses on young adults with bipolar disorder, substance use disorders treatment, and families and significant others close to individuals with substance use disorders.
