Rakesh Karmacharya, MD,PhD is a Physician Investigator in the Center for Genomic Medicine at Mass General and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is on the faculty of the Chemical Biology PhD Program and the Program in Neuroscience at Harvard University. His research uses experimental approaches at the intersection of chemical biology, genetics and stem cell biology to investigate cellular pathways relevant to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism and related neuropsychiatric disorders.
