In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, join us to learn about barriers to medical care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Practical strategies for decreasing anxiety and improving care for these individuals will be provided. The use of systematic desensitization, an evidence-based strategy for decreasing anxiety around medical procedures, will be reviewed and highlighted through case examples.

This online program is free and open to Mass General staff, patients, and the general public. No registration needed.
